Need a confidence boost?
Want to review your material and performance style?
Performing stand up comedy or speaking in public for the first time?
Nervous about using humour?
Then this workshop needs YOU!
This friendly two-hour workshop is run by our founder, Lynne Parker, and is a great introductory session for comedy virgins and also designed for those of you who want a ‘reboot’ in terms of revisiting and refining your material.
We will also be joined by our resident improvisational expert Jenny Bolt, actress, director and skilled workshop facilitator, who will be on hand to offer acting skills and show how improvising can help your performance.
We’ve been running our Stand Up to Stand Out workshops for over 10 years and witnessed the genesis of many comedy careers as seen in our Funny Women Awards. We’ve also helped hundreds of women to gain the confidence to perform on stage and in the boardroom.
Work on building up your confidence to perform, develope your personal performance style and create new material. For those of you who already have some stage time behind you, as comedians or speakers, this is an opportunity to get some expert feedback and advice on how you can up your game.
As with all our workshops, we aim to build your self-confidence and enhance your communications skills, important both personally and professionally.
