If you're looking for a little anti-Valentine's fun (or just want to get away from all the Hallmark sappiness and giant cuddly toys that 'heart you') on Saturday 14th of Febuary which ends with dancing then this is the night for you.

Luisa will be performing her latest show 'Am I Right Ladies?' to keep you all laughing and generally feeling very good about yourself.

Yes it's that time again! The Edinburgh previews are starting to creep their way into our comedy calendar.

2013 Funny Women Variety Award winners Revan and Fennell are taking their comic characters up to Edinburgh but you can catch them at their preview shows on Tuesday 20th January at the Lounge, Leicester Square Theatre, and then again at the Etcetera Theatre, Camden on Saturday 7th March at 9.30pm.

We are hoping to see more of Revan and Fennell's funky policemen, philosophical football fans and cement wielding builders.

Winning the 2014 Funny Women Awards has given Jayde Adams a taste for prizes, she has entered the seventh annual WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards.

The WeGotTickets Musical Comedy Awards has seen some great acts reach the finals over the past six years, with finalists such as Frisky and Mannish in 2009 and winner Abandoman in 2010. We expect 2015 will be the best year yet. 

This Saturday 17th January the Awards first heat will be held at the Phoenix and Jayde will be among the following acts:

If you like your comedy fresh and new then you will want to check out the New Acts of the Year 2015. The annual New Variety Lives Top-of-the-Bill new act showcase will be hosted by Arthur Smith at the Bloomsbury theatre on Sunday 25th January.

I have a friend who is obsessed with RuPaul’s Drag Race and all of the sassy gifs it’s spawned on Tumblr. Clearly someone fabulous at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern has the same TV show on the brain, as the venue’s Christmas panto this year is ‘Jack – Sissy That Stalk!’. A clear play on the “sissy that walk!” mantra that became the title of a very pink RuPaul single.

We’d expect nothing less from the oldest surviving gay venue in South London. If you thought panto was a bit camp then get ready for a show more flamboyant than a Christmas tree onesie.
