As always we've got Funny Women alumni all over Edinburgh Fringe and Funny Women Awards semi finalist and Brighton Fringe Best Performer nominee Liz Peters is one of them. 

Get your dirty laugh ready for a feast of adult silliness, bursting with music, character and joyful vulgarity. 'Toybox'  uplifting show with lashings of rude buffoonery, a bit of wincing and a whole lot of fun, where saucy shenanigans and friendly posteriors are rammed up against vivid tales of Tarantino-esque murder.

Comedy Pride comes to Liverpool

This Saturday, 2nd August, Pride is coming to Liverpool and comedy will be a big part of the celebrations. Liverpool's LGBTQ community will be gathering with allies for a day of music, fun and community spirit where Pride revellers will be treated to a whole host of top performances across the Waterfront, Stanley Street and Garlands and G-Bar stages.

With a stellar line-up already confirmed, Liverpool Pride have also added a spectacular comedy festival with a hilarious array of comedians performing in the Trans* Tent from 6.00pm. Since its launch at Brunel University the Centre for Comedy Studies Research has been exploring all kinds of comedy themed subjects, most recently the centre hosted the comedy event Live at Brunel on the River Thames.
