Since its launch at Brunel University the Centre for Comedy Studies Research has been exploring all kinds of comedy themed subjects, most recently the centre hosted the comedy event Live at Brunel on the River Thames.

Now the Centre for Comedy Studies Research and Big Difference Productions will be packing their bags as they head up to Scotland for the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival for 'Beyond a Joke? Comedy, Culture and the Public'. This is a five day seminar series exploring controversial issues facing comedy today.
