Funny Women Aid Benefit Cosmetics in Their Investigation into the Slaying of Gangster Benny Fitz
Funny Women were delighted to be asked to work with Benefit Cosmetics on their launch party for the new mascara ‘They’re Real’ and perfume ‘Ring My Bella’ at their Spitalfields Market store, providing a script and actors to take part in a 1930’s comedy sketch in-store centred around the murder of Gangster Benny Fitz.
Make-up artists and beauty bloggers were also given a workshop taster from Funny Women’s Liz Waters which involved telling the group an unlikely fact about themselves. Somehow we doubt that the story about being married to Brad Pitt with Angelina being a cover to keep the secret from the world’s media was strictly true, especially considering the main thing the group were told about the stories was to make sure that They’re Real!
Guests were also treated to a Burlesque dance from Tabitha Taboo and an introductory lesson from Lady Cheek both from The Cheek of It Burlesque School while Rokit Vintage, the London vintage clothing store provided the costumes for the actors as well as props for theming the event.
