After the fantastic success of our first ever Workshop Weekend in February, our next event takes place in July (postponed from 18th and 19th May). Same time, same place as our inaugural weekend where 100% of the participants said they would recommend the experience to a friend. We're confident that we can get your creative juices flowing and boost your confidence whether it's for performing or everyday life. We know that women are big on talent and short on time so our bumper weekend of four workshops covers stand up skills, writing comedy, improvisation and physical awareness led by some fantastic women (and one man!) who work with us regularly on our shows, workshops and Charity Challenges as performers and mentors.

We’re throwing in some informal networking, panel discussions, performances, special guest speakers and a few drinks kindly supplied by our lovely friends at Blue Nun Wines to make the weekend go with an extra humourous swing and all for the bargain price of £250.

Here’s what the weekend includes and how it shapes up over the two days:

Saturday 13th July - Writing Characters and Writing for Radio with Hattie Naylor and Paul Dodgson

10.00am - 10.30am Registration, welcome coffee and introduction
10.30am – 12.30pm workshop session one
12.30pm – 2.00pm lunch break and networking

2.00pm - 2.30pm open panel session with speakers
2.30pm – 4.30pm workshop session two
4.30pm – 5.00pm tea

5.00pm - 6.00pm body awareness masterclass
6.00pm – 7.00pm drinks reception and special guest

Sunday 14th July - Stand Up To Stand Out and Improvisation with Lynne Parker and Courtney Cornfield

10.00am - 10.30am coffee and recap from day one

10.30am - 12.30pm workshop session three

12.30pm - 2.00pm lunch break and networking

2.00pm - 4.00pm workshop session four

4.00pm - 5.00pm round up Q&A
