Fresh from last year's Funny Women Awards, we're proud to present a very special double bill: Katie Lane and Elf Lyons!
Both Elf and Katie impressed the judges at the 2013 Awards, managing to secure the runners-up places - no mean feat with thirteen talented funny women in the grand final. Both comedians will be presenting solo material in an hour that's sure to be an unforgettable night of fun.
In Katie Lane’s 'Won’t Try Harder', she details her under achievements through warm wit, sharp observations and the best impersonation of Mr T ever attempted by a middle class white girl.
In 'Elf Lyons: Underground Success', the talented up-and-comer spins an epic 30 minutes of anecdotes, erotica, library raps & facts on the London Underground.
Praise for Elf Lyons: "She is just too talented for someone barely twenty [...] expect her to be a major star" - One4Review
Praise for Katie Lane: "Her set on hideous wedding dresses and being a middle-class white woman living in Brixton was well-deserving of its prize" - Feminist Times
This promises to be a very special double-hander not to be missed - so get booking and remember, you saw them here first!

We want to do something very special for all those wonderful people who are supporting female comedy by becoming a limited number of our BFFs.
We launched our Funny Friends scheme last year to exchange some great opportunities and offers with our loyal supporters of Funny Women – the funds raised are going into developing our community via this website and events.
As we need a head start we’ve created the upscaled BFF version of Funny Friends and, as an early 'thank you' to those of you who have already taken up the offer, and to our new BFFs who join us in the next few weeks, we will invite you to our exclusive BFF launch party with the amazing and wonderful Jo Brand, who will be in conversation with the fabulous and funny Suzy Bennett.
We can promise you lots of laughs and some wine and nibbles, all in the cosy surroundings of the Union Club, Soho, home of our recent Workshop Weekend. Please note that numbers are limited.
So, to find out how to become a BFF you can read more HERE.
